Absence and Sickness Procedure
It is very important that you notify the Day Centre by telephoning before 9.30am on (01670) 861662 to inform of any absences or problems. This enables us to ensure that the transport system is reliable for all concerned and also, should you not have contacted us and are not ready to be collected, we can contact the appropriate people in case of any problems.
Health and Safety
It is the policy of Lynemouth Day Centre to take all reasonable steps to safeguard the health and safety of all clients and staff and to take all necessary steps to implement such a policy.
Alcohol and Medication
No alcoholic drink or drugs (other than those prescribed by a registered medical practitioner) may be consumed at the Day Centre.
First Aid and Accidents
Qualified First Aiders are always on hand to deal with any accident. You can be assured that you’re always in safe hands.
Fire and Emergency Evacuation
In the event of a fire you must follow the instructions of staff who will deal with the matter accordingly.
Smoking
No Smoking is allowed in the Day Centre Building in accordance with Government Regulations. An area in the garden has been created for people who require a cigarette whilst attending the Day Centre. Please ask a member of staff for directions.
